Egypt is the most attractive tourist destination for billionaires in 2019
Egypt has topped the list of countries that billionaires plan to visit this year. This result is determined by considering the number of reservations and the effectiveness of travel services. In particular, the effectiveness of the service is assessed by feedback and requests from customers. According to Original Travel, the number of tourists booking Egypt's tours to the present time is three times higher than in 2018.
The appeal of Egypt comes from the richness of the history of Pharaon dynasties, a series of symbolic cultural – historical landmarks, and interesting influences of Greek, Rome and Islamic culture. The billionaires also come to Egypt to immerse themselves in natural and cultural beauty like many other tourists. But they also have the opportunity to enjoy the luxury services of the Egyptian tourism industry, from high-class restaurants in Cairo to resorts along the Red Sea coast.
Many people see Egypt as a certain place to visit once in a lifetime. Many people come, go and come back once more, twice more. The best time to travel to this country is from October to March every year.
There is a common misconception that you should not travel to Egypt in Ramadan. But in fact, the Muslim fasting month is a busy and fun period. Participating in jubilant meals after sunset with locals will be an exciting travel experience.
Luxor and Aswan – A thoughtful and ancient Egypt
Majority of tourists of Original Travel have booked Nile excursions on the classic Sudan steamship. The ship runs along the Nile River, on the banks of two cities Luxor and Aswan, stopping at many archaeological sites, temples and tombs for visitors to admire the Egyptian beauty.
The city of Luxor, in ancient times known as "Thebes", has a series of interesting attractions in the Valley of the Kings. Once a burial site for queens and royal descendants, this place has over 60 royal stone tombs with many hieroglyphs and colorful cave paintings. Luxor also has many other tourist attractions such as the Hatshepsut temple, Colossi of Memnon statues and Karnak temple complex – the largest in Egypt and one of the largest temple complexes in the world.
Aswan is located in the south of Luxor. About 300 km to the southwest of the city is the 3,000-year-old Abu Simbel ancient temple complex with two stone temples carved deep into the mountain: a large temple for Pharaon Ramses II and protection deities, and a small temple for Queen Nefertari and sky goddess Hathor.
Cairo – A lively and colorful Egypt
The journey to explore the city of Cairo - the capital of Egypt - is also favored by many wealthy tourists. Cairo is full of interesting tourist attractions, from the ancient market of Al Khayameya, also known as the "Tentsman's Market", with many colorful handcrafted embroidery items, to fascinating galleries, exhibits using smart technology and hundreds of stores in Zamalek district.
Form historic sites, museums to busy, modern areas, Cairo is enough to satisfy many different types of tourists. Cairo is also gradually becoming an attractive food tourism destination with thousands of restaurants and bars with bold Egyptian identity.
Not far from Cairo is the Red Sea. Tourists can take scuba diving trips at Sharm el Sheikh or Hurghada coast to admire the wreck and colorful natural coral reefs.
